Mentoring package

Looking for an experienced mentor for your OBU degree? Great! You have come to the right place. As you may have already read on my About me page, I am a registered mentor for the OBU degree. I have also gone through the degree myself, so you can be sure I know exactly what you are going through.

The good news is, if you follow the guidelines and have an experienced mentor who can guide you through the process, you’ll be fine.

The mentoring service is £550 and it includes:

1. Three Mentor Meetings

We will have three mentor meetings via Zoom or Skype. I am pretty flexible with timings, so there shouldn’t be too much trouble finding a mutually agreeable time to meet. During our third mentor meeting, you will deliver a 15-minute presentation to me and fellow students.

2. Useful Handouts

I will provide you with all the important and useful resources you need for your BSc project. In addition to the documents provided by OBU, you will have access to my customized documents such as:

  • Mentor meeting checklists
  • Guides on referencing
  • Guide on how to prepare a successful presentation
  • My Pre-submission checklist
  • and more!

3. Review of your RAP documents

At each mentor meeting, you will present your meeting agenda, covering all the key points of the project that you wish to discuss with me. During our second and third mentor meetings, I will give you my feedback on your RAP and the supporting documents. If you wish to have your project reviewed more frequently, I am happy to do so.

4. Unlimited email support and guidance throughout the project

Contact me whenever you like, you are not alone! I will get back to you within 24 hours (usually a lot less).

5. Sign off

Sign off confirming that I acted as your mentor and that your RAP is your own work. When you come to submit your RAP on the OBU portal, you will be asked to select the contact details of your Project Mentor and your Project Mentor will be required to confirm that they undertook your mentoring.
